A way of looking
Nothing endures without structure, but structure alone is never enough.
Practical work taught me that nothing endures without structure. A road, building, institution, company, philosophy or civilisation may appear impressive, but without a sound foundation it is merely waiting for pressure to expose its weakness.
Literature taught me something equally important: structures alone are not enough. Human beings require stories, meaning, morality, memory and the freedom to imagine realities beyond the one immediately visible.
That is why this site moves between science, philosophy, business, history, practical projects and imagination. The subjects differ, but the underlying question remains: what makes a structure endure, and what causes it to fail?
Intellectual territory
The geometry of pyramids. The gravity of power. The stories that refuse to die.
History, geography, astronomy, modern physics, literature, philosophy and business are not decorative interests here. They are different instruments for examining the same world.
